Default R/E Character help

I'm a casual player that is currently playing an R/E character and I only use water magic from the elementalists skills. I'm concerned only with PVE play and was wondering if anyone knew a good build using water skills and any combination of ranger skills? I am in NF and just finished the Magrid the Sly quest fwiw.

Cheers

Conjure Frost + Icy Weapon is probably all I would really reccomend.

I use Icy Weapon + Barrage + Conjure Frost. Does a reasonably good job at doing extra damage

Rust is handy, and so is Frigid Armor if you happen to be facing a pack of melee monsters.

Not so sure about Rust, but Frigid Armor can come in handy against Ruby Djinn who use Searing Flames.
